About Us

About CredHelper

We explain money. We don’t sell it.

CredHelper is an independent publisher of plain-language guides on credit, banking, borrowing, benefits, and taxes. Free to read, written for people, not for products.

Who we are

We’re a publisher. That’s the point.

CredHelper is a financial-education website published by Beside Media LTDA. We are a media company, not a financial institution. We don’t lend money, issue cards, open accounts, or process applications for anyone.

Our editorial team turns rates, rules, and fine print into guides you can actually use: how a credit report works, what a grace period is, how to negotiate a debt, which documents you need at tax time. The goal is to make each decision clearer, never to make it for you.

Every guide is written to stand on its own. We don’t rank institutions, and we don’t recommend products.

What we cover

The topics behind everyday money decisions.

Our independence

Three things we will never do.

  • Sell or recommend financial productsWe explain how products work in general terms. We don’t rank institutions, endorse offers, or tell you which product to choose.
  • Act as a bank, lender, or brokerWe don’t hold money, extend credit, or process applications on behalf of any institution.
  • Earn commissions from institutionsNo affiliate fees, no referral payments. Nothing we publish is paid for by the companies we write about.

How we’re funded

Free for you. Paid for by advertising.

CredHelper is funded like any other media publisher: through advertising space displayed around our content. That revenue pays for research, writing, and updates, and keeps every guide free to read.

Advertising never shapes what we publish. Ads are clearly labeled, we don’t earn anything when you open an account or take out a product, and no institution reviews or approves our articles before they go live.

Good to know: CredHelper is not a bank, lender, broker, or financial advisor. Our content is for information and education only and is not personalized financial, legal, or tax advice. Always weigh your own situation, and consult a qualified professional before making a decision.
